🕒 Approx. 38 - 48 hours per month
📍 Based in the inner-city Wellington area

Key Details:

• Workdays: Monday, Wednesday and Friday for general merchandising, while stores are open
• Interior finishes work: Can be done on any weekday, offering flexibility to suit your schedule. Hours vary weekly based on the call cycle for each location (bi-monthly, quarterly, etc.).
• Additional tasks: Some special tasks (e.g., stickering, display builds or full range updates of colour samples) may be required on top of regular hours.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on role covering a wide range of products and outlets. It combines FMCG merchandising with interior finishes merchandising.

FMCG merchandising – a typical day could include:

• Building, setting up and maintaining displays
• Restocking shelves and rotating stock
• Making sure products are displayed neatly and correctly, with tickets in place
• Compliance checks
• Talking to a wide range of clients and store staff

Interior finishes merchandising:

• Replenishing and displaying colour samples in interior design stores and other outlets
• Calling on local interior design stores, architects, kitchen designers, building companies, hardware stores and more
• Assisting with occasional full range updates throughout the year, which means additional hours during those periods

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Lives in inner-city Wellington or within 10km
• Holds a current driver’s licence (minimum restricted) with a clean record
• Owns a reliable vehicle with enough space for samples
• Has a small storage area at home for sample stock
• Is confident, well-presented, reliable and organised
• Has great time management skills
• Is available on the days as advised
