Merchandiser need in Taupo
This role is two fold
Store merchandising
This work regularly averages around 15 hours each week.
Mostly evening work on a Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday for around 3.5 hours. Plus extra time for display builds as required (usually on a Sunday night) and Work can be done any time from 7pm as long as you are out of the store by 7am the following day
Plus a daytime trip to Turangi every 4 weeks & travel time will be paid from Taupo - calls can be done any day Monday to Friday during the day
A typical day of grocery merchandising could include:
- Restocking shelves
- Building and setting up displays & maintaining them
- Ensuring products are well stocked & stock is rotated
- Making sure products are displayed neatly and correctly and tickets are in place
- Talking to a wide range of clients and store staff
About the interior finishes merchandising
The hours vary for this work each month, depending on the clients that are scheduled for sample replenishment during that period
It is flexible day time work that can be done any day Monday to Friday during the day
The job involves:
- Replenishing (restocking & displaying) colour samples on range boards
- You will be calling on local interior design stores, plus visiting architects, kitchen designers, building companies, hardware stores etc.
- There are few occasions throughout the year when there will be a total range update to be completed, so there will be a lot more hours during that time
- The interior finishes work can be done any day during the standard working week – providing flexibility.

We require someone who is:
- Living in Taupo
- Confident & well presented
- Excellent time management skills and tech savvy for online reporting
- Has a reliable vehicle, with room for carrying samples, and some small home storage space to store interior finishes sample stock
- Has a clean & current driver’s licence, minimum restricted
